What a month it has been! The weather can’t make its mind up and we have had all four seasons in one month, but it is not doing any good for my son’s football, he hasn’t played a game for over five weeks, due to either water logged or frozen pitches. Fingers crossed the weather settles soon or he will be playing into May or even June and we already have lots of shows booked up, which we don’t want to miss. A couple of us are thinking of going over to France in June to try and watch a couple of games of football in the European Championships! It’s a good excuse to give the van a good run out, watch a bit of football and maybe even have a beer or two. If anybody else is going over drop me an email and let me know where you are staying and maybe we can catch up.

Did anyone go to Camper Mart in January? The show was much bigger, with lots more to see than previous years we had a new hall which was full of traders and it also allowed us to put on a great display of buses. If you displayed I would like to say thank you and hope you had a great time.  As I write this it’s Dubfreeze next week and I am hoping to get there for the day, there are, I know lots of people camping the night before and I hope it’s a bit warmer this year for the campers, when I turned up last year there was still frost on the vans!

This month we have our first ever Crafter feature, I’d be very interested to hear your thoughts on both this particular Crafter and on featuring Crafter’s in general in the magazine.Whenever we feature the odd Caddy it always sparks a debate. Drop me an email and let me know. Along side the Crafter we have New Wave’s latest demo bus, a bagged T5 and a red T5 high top that’s bound to split opinion. Representing the T4s we have “Purple Ronnie” a self build with bags of character and a “Milka” paint job, a seriously shiny Friesian green example that’s also a self build and an Ipanema bronze camper with a cream leather interior to die for. This month we also introduce Jeremy and Paula Dear who are starting their Central and South American adventure. Closer to home we visit Dubtoberfest, Brighton Breeze and AJC conversions and our regular columnists Grant, David and Alan put in an appearance.

Enjoy your travels and let me know how you get on.

Happy Camping!
